Senators remain divided on how to resume Senate committees, more than a month after the new parliamentary session began, and as new government bills tread toward the Senate for approval.
Senators have agreed to the membership of its 18 standing committees and to hold hybrid chamber sittings with both in-person and virtual attendance, but the two largest senate caucuses remain at odds over whether to allow committee meetings the option to be all-virtual.
